Time to tee it up with Albany County! Taught by Class A PGA professional Joe Lavigna, this program teaches the basics of golf, including grip, posture, alignment, along with in-swing techniques and fundamentals matched to each individual golfer. Short game development includes putting, chipping, and pitching with special emphasis on posture, alignment, and stroke. Additional instruction will include rules, safety, and etiquette. This program runs from 5:30pm-6:30pm, and is for beginners as well as those who are looking to improve their skills.

Note:

Participants should bring their own clubs if they have them. If you do not have clubs, they will be supplied for you.

Please wear golf shoes (if you have them) or sneakers. Please dress in golf apparel if possible (collared shirt, no jeans). Dress appropriately/comfortably to be outside for an hour. Participants should bring water, a hat, and a towel.
